Section V (Psychology of Asian Pacific American Women) of APA’s Division 35 (Society for the Psychology of Women) is excited to announce the 3rd Convention of AAPI Feminist Psychology to be held on June 5-7, 2026 in San Diego, CA. Join us on the evening of Thursday, June 4th, for a pre-convention event featuring a guest speaker.

Our theme for the 3rd Convention, “Rooted in Connection, Rising in Care—Feminist Visions of Liberation and Well-Being,” is a response to the persistent turmoil, marked by ongoing global and local conflicts, racial and gender injustice, erasure and displacement of marginalized people, minimization of science and intellect, and collective anxiety and exhaustion.

The convention centers on three core themes:

  1. Affirming interdependence, authenticity, and mutual care through feminist practice.

  2. Reclaiming wellness as a human right through collective healing amid structural inequities, displacement, and marginalization.
